Bridgerton is a forthcoming romantic periodic drama created by Chris Van Dusen and narrated by Julia Andrews based on Julia Quinn‘s novels. Alongside the creator, Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers served as the executive producers. From a total of eight books, Bridgerton Season 1 centres on Julia Quinn‘s first book, “The Duke and I.” We can make sure that Bridgerton will be a series, and we would get to see more seasons from the periodical drama set in the 1880s. 

Bridgerton Release Date

Lately, the release date of Bridgeton got officially announced. Bridgerton Season 1 is all set to have a Christmas release this year. The eight-episode series will start airing from 25 December 2020, brightening your Christmas eve. 

Who is in the cast??

• Phoebe Dynevor plays Daphne Bridgerton, the eldest daughter of the Bridgerton family. 
•  Regé-Jean Page will play Simon Basset, one of the main leads.

• Julie Andrews will voice for Lady Whistledown, one of the main characters of the periodic drama.

Bridgerton Plot

The plot follows the story of eight siblings from the mighty Bridgerton family who endeavours to find love. Bridgerton season 1 will focus on the journey of the eldest sister of Bridgerton’s family, Daphne Bridgerton. Miss Daphne Bridgerton makes her way to London to find her true love in the marriage market. She always desired to find pure love like their parents and follow their footprints. The periodic drama is all about love, friendships, and betrayal. 

In Season 1, we would see Simon Basset and Daphne Bridgerton faking love to please Basset‘s mother. In their mission, Basset confesses his love and feelings for Daphne Bridgerton, his best friend’s sister, and she falls for him, which turns their pretended relationship into reality. 

Julia Quinn penned eight books of Bridgerton, each book focusing on one of the siblings from the mighty Bridgerton’s family. Which means we would get to see a total of eight instalments from the Bridgerton periodic drama.
