Jagame Tantram (Telugu), Jagame Thandhiram (Tamil) is an upcoming Tamil language action thriller film directed by Karthik Subbaraj and presented by Y NOT Studios and Reliance Entertainment. The famous actor and national award winner Dhanush join hands with young director Karthik in their upcoming anticipated movie. Santhosh Narayanan and Hiphop Thamizha composed the music.
The feature reportingly feature Dhanush in double role as Suruli and Prabhu, Sanchana Natarajan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, The Game Of Thrones actor James Cosmo, Joju George. The official motion poster was released on 19th February 2020 on the YouTube channel Y Not Studios.
The motion poster shows Dhanush in a gangster type look with guns. The dining scene at the end of the poster seems to be inspired by the 15th-century painting ‘ The last supper’ by Leonardo Da Vinci.
The film was scheduled to be released worldwide on 1st May 2020, interestingly the birthday of the biggest Tamil star Thala Ajith, but due to corona outbreak, the release date has been postponed. Now the expected release date falls on 27th August 2020.
