Total Dhamaal Box Office Collection : Madhuri Dixit Debuts In 100 Crores Club !

Dhak-dhak girl of Bollywood finally entered the 100 Crores club of the film industry. Madhuri’s film Total Dhamaal made it to 100 Crores. Madhuri started her career with the film Abodh in 1984. But her first commercially successful film is Tezaab which was released in 1988. Later, she was seen in Dil, Khalnaayak, Raja, Ham aapke hai Kaun etc movies. But Total Dhamaal is her first movie that crossed the benchmark of 100 crores. This movie also features Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey, Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Mishra.

The movie released two weeks back. The reviews of this movie suggest that the movie is not that good but an audience is pouring love on this movie. In just 12 days of its release, the movie has made Rs 127 crore at India’s box office. The movie is aiming for almost 150 crores which will be nearly five times the lifetime business of the first instalment and three times the business of the second instalment of the same franchise.

Worldwide collection of Total Dhamaal:

The movie is releasing in as many as 64 countries worldwide. By now, it has collected $5.8 million. Golmaal Again made around $7 million and it was released in Pakistan too. As the movie Total Dhamaal was not released in Pakistan because of the Pulwama attack, this movie will equally surpass the movie ‘Golmaal Again’ very soon. The business of the Total Dhamaal has beaten the combined lifetime total of both Singham (2011) and Singham Returns (2014) at USA Box Office.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted about Total Dhamaal joining ₹ 100 crores club and it will make more business in upcoming days. He also admired Indra Kumar for his direction. According to Taran, Indra Kumar knows the pulse of an audience. Dil, Beta, Raja, Ishq, Masti, Dhamaal are some of the hit movies of Indra Kumar. Grand Masti is his first 100 Crore film and now the Total Dhamaal.

Speaking of 100 crores, Ajay has made a hat-trick of 100-crore with Total Dhamaal. Overall, he has 9 movies which earned 100+ crore. It is the fifth 100 Crore club movie for Riteish Deshmukh, third for Anil Kapoor and Arshad Warsi.
