Sonam Kapoor was recently seen in ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga’ which is a completely different film than usual Bollywood films. Though this film did not collect much on Box office, Sonam was praised a lot for her role. A few days ago, the first look of her upcoming film with Dulquer Salman was released. That film is The Zoya Factor. All the fans went crazy over that look. So, Sonam is using a very innovative way to promote her film by changing her Instagram name to her character’s name in her upcoming movie. Sonam also changed her Twitter handle’s name to Zoya Singh Solanki. She also changed her bio on Instagram as well as Twitter. Her Instagram bio reads ‘Lucky Mascot’ and her twitter handle bio is ‘Lucky Charm of the Indian Cricket Team.’
Sonam started filming this movie in August 2018. This movie is based upon Anuja Chauhan’s bestselling novel called The Zoya Factor. Sonam’s uncle Sanjay Kapoor is playing her father’s role in this film. When the first look of the film was released, Sonam and Dulquer were seen holding a copy of the novel ‘The Zoya Factor.’
This film is about a girl called Zoya Singh Solanki who is an executive in an advertisement agency and meets the Indian Cricket Team through her job. She is born exactly when India won the World Cup in 1983. She Becomes a lucky charm for the team for 2010’s world cup. She falls in love with the captain Nikhil Khoda (Dulquer Salman) who does not believe in luck. This film is scheduled to be released on 5th April 2019. This film is directed by Abhishek Sharma and it also features Angad Bedi.
