‘Raat Akeli Hai’ is a crime thriller which features Radhika Apte and Shweta Tripathi Sharma alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The duo, Radhika Apte and Nawazuddin Siddiqui were seen together in Badlapur ‘Manjhi – The Mountain Man’. They did really well together. It would be stimulating to see Nawazuddin and Radhika Apte romancing each other on screen yet again. The film also stars Ila Arun, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Swanand Kirkire in the pivotal roles.
When asked about working with Nawazuddin, Shweta said, “Acting alongside Nawaz bhai is learning. He is a master of the craft and makes you look good by just being in the same frame.”
Shweta and Nawazuddin had also collaborated for a film called Haraamkhor which was released in 2017. On this, she said, “I take it as an honour and opportunity to be working with him again in ‘Raat Akeli Hai’. Incidentally, ‘Haraamkhor’ was my debut film as it had been shot before ‘Masaan’. However, it released later. I feel fortunate to have made my debut alongside Nawaz bhai.”
Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be also seen in Bangladeshi filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s film ‘No Land’s Man’. He is co-producing this film. The film will release in the English language which is about a tragic and strange journey of a South Asian man and an Australian girl in the US. The shooting of this film will start this year.
