Bhuj : The Pride of India Will Star Parineeti As A Spy

The film ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ is based on real-life events during the India-Pakistan war of 1971. The film is directed and written by Abhishek Dudhaiya. It features Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha.

Reportedly, actress Parineeti Chopra will also be seen in the movie She will be playing the role of a spy Heena Rehman in the film. Heena worked for the Indian government and passes information about Pakistan’s attack plans. This is similar to what Alia did as Sehmat in the Meghna Gulzar directorial.” She also tweeted about the movie saying, “The most special true story ever.”

She recently played the role of the love interest of Akshay Kumar in movie Kesari. Parineeti did not get the longer screen time but she is happy with the part she got.

In an interview, Parineeti said, “I give a lot of importance to living life the way I want to and also putting my hundred per cent in work. I used to be a person of extremes; at one point, if I was working, I was only working, or if I was busy with my personal life, I was only doing that. I wasn’t a good multi-tasker. Today, I am able to balance things better and learn quicker. About your choices when it comes to films, I don’t think you can really plan that. Even the most senior actor in the industry cannot be confident about how it’s going to go. The biggest of actors plan things, which may not go anywhere, while some others may become accidental successes. So, you can’t really plan, you can only hope that things go as per your plan. Sometimes they do, but mostly, they don’t. I am going to live each day, do what I want to do. Every single decision will be mine. If it works, it would be great, if it doesn’t, that’s fine, too.”

Other than Bhuj, she has three more projects such as Jabariya Jodi, Sandeep Aur Pinky Farrar and Saina Nehwal biopic. She recently replaced Shraddha Kapoor from the movie. She is now practising badminton to perform the role in a better way.
