2019 was really busy year for Ayushmann Khurana. He did back to back 3 superhit films namely Bala, Article 15 and Dreamgirl. All these 3 films did really well at the box office and loved by audiences. He is also busy shooting his next projects for 2020. Doing all this, he could not give much time to his family. Recently, he also admitted this in a video where he and his wife Tahira Kashyap was seen interviewing each other.
He said jokingly that he was so busy with the work that he had to come on this show to talk to his wife. The video was full of questions and answers where they both opened up about what they feel about their marriage, how their marriage is special and how Tahira’s encounter with cancer made them even stronger. Ayushmann also said that his wife is his role model.
To begin with, Tahira asked Ayushmann that when he realised that he is in love with her to which he replied that it was the mere age of 17-18. Tahira told in this video that, both of them were in the same physics tuition and she and her friend had a common crush on him. They didn’t know his name but because he used to wear a green jacket, they used to call him froggy.
One of the questions that Ayushmann asked Tahira was if she thinks Ayushmann has changed after the success or not. Tahira answered very wisely that everyone changes with time and she think her husband has changed for better. They also talked about how their marriage is special because they are always there for each other.
In this show, Tahira recalled how Ayushmann, her parents, Ayushman’s brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Mandar ( Tahira’s Doctor) was there for her throughout her journey while she was being treated from cancer.
Ayushman and Tahira have been married for 12 years. They have two kids, Vurajveer and Varushka. On the work front, Ayushmann is gearing up for his 2020 films Gulabo Sitabo and Shubh Mangalam Zyada Savdhan. Tahira will be directing a movie in 2020 named as Kwatha. In 2019, Tahira won Vogue Beauty Award in Beauty warriors category along with Sonali Bendre.
