Rapper and Hip-hop superstar Juice WRLD has been reported dead after suffering a major seizure at Midway Airport in Chicago, IL. After having just celebrated celebrated his 21st birthday last week, this news comes as a shock to the world at large.
The rapper’s flight from California landed early morning on Sunday and witnesses claim that he suffered the seizure strolling through the airport. Regulation enforcement sources reported that his mouth was bleeding as he was found to be dead. He was rushed to a hospital immediately but was pronounced dead soon after. The main reason for his death is still however, unclear.
Juice WRLD, born Jarad Anthony Higgins was an extremely talented rapper who’s breakthrough in the music scene was evident after his single “Lucid Dreams” climbed the charts all the way up to #2 on the Hot 100. It was not only his breakthrough single but also one of many hit singles that climbed the charts overnight and stayed hits for a very long time.
Lucid Dreams was originally featured on his mixtape 9 9 9 but following its increasing popularity and after its rise to international fame, the song was featured on his debut album ‘Goodbye & Good Riddance’ as well. The album was released in May 2018 and it hit #4 on the Billboard Hot 200 charts. Later in 2018, Juice WRLD did a collaboration with a fellow rapper and hip hop star Future as part of their album together called Wrld On Drugs, which was just one rung shy of ruling the Billboard 200. Another key feature of his career was his work on Travis Scott’s huge “AstroWorld” album, singing the hook on the monitor, “No Bystanders.”
The rapper finally conquered the very same chart this year itself with this second album Death Race for Love. The album did extremely well and ruled for two consecutive frames in March. It had been a while since the charts had seen his name and Juice WRLD was already planning his comeback with a new release scheduled to drop sometime in December itself.
Juice WRLD was very vocal about his plans for his music releases for his fans and he was always pushing to give more to them. When asked how much he had in store for the fans last month, he said that he had probably over a thousand songs ready to go. It’s very unclear as to when these songs would be released if at all they are.
Teens and admirers all over the world are shocked at the tragedy. The world is reminded of the death of young music legends such as Mac Miller and XXXTentacion who died too young.
