Akshay Kumar starrer “Laxmmi Bomb” to explode this Diwali under the direction of ‘Raghava Lawrence.’

Laxmmi Bomb is a forthcoming Bollywood Horror comedy film directed by Raghava Lawrence. Alongside Raghava Lawrence, Farhad Samji served as the scriptwriters. Cape of Good Films, Fox Star Studios, Shabinaa Entertainment, and Tushar Entertainment House presents the film. The movie is the remake of a 2011 Kollywood film titled “Muni 2: Kanchana” starring Raghava Lawrence, and it is one of the biggest hits of the Kollywood film industry. Laxmmi Bomb was initially planned to have a theatrical release on 22 May 2020 but got moved to OTT due to the ongoing pandemic.

Hopefully, we have an official release date for the film. Laxmmi Bomb is all set to have a Diwali release this year, i.e., on 9 November 2020. The movie will premiere on Disney+Hotstar exclusively.

Laxmmi Bomb Plot

Laxmmi Bomb is Raghava Lawrence‘s debut as a director in Bollywood film industry. Lawrence is one of the prominent South Indian stars who appeared in several movies along directing many films in the South Industry. The movie is also dubbed in Tollywood which received a tremendous response from the audience for its horror-comedy. Lawrence determined to remake his film “Muni 2: Kanchana” with superstar Akshay Kumar as the main lead. In the movie, Akshay Kumar plays the titular character “Laxmmi,” a transgender person. Well, we haven’t seen Akshay in such kind of roles ever before, we would love to see the new side of Akshay in his upcoming film. 

The plot is all about revenge. The transgender woman leads an everyday life like others and buys land for the welfare of her family. The property goes under the control of a few illegal superiors who promises her to give back her land on being claimed. One day, Laxmmi was asked to visit their place for the settlement of the property, and later they deceive the woman by teaming up and brutally kill her and her dear ones and bury them in the same land. The woman turns out to be a ghost and haunt the people who are responsible for the deaths and seeks revenge.
