“Teri Mitti” originally from the movie ‘Kesari’ is recreated to give a tribute to the frontline warriors of Corona pandemic. Parineeti Chopra and Akshay Kumar starer song is now casted on our white coat superheroes, social workers and policemen. This recreated version is sung by B Prank.
Akshay Kumar is seen supporting every initiative working towards making India virus free. He donated a huge amount to the PM Care Fund and also motivated everyone to donate. Now he took another initiative and released a recreated version of ‘Teri Mitti’, which is solely based on India’s corona warriors. Watch the lyrical music video here:
The video contains the scenes recorded during the testing and treatment of COVID-19 patients, a glimpse of common people, natural beauty of India, violence against Doctors, doctors appeal to stay at home and the overwhelming scenes where these frontline warriors are trying their best to save our lives. The sight of violence against doctors and medical professionals who were collecting samples of virus suspects and are just heartbreaking.
These lines of the song says this all-
‘ Majboor hui jab dil ki duaa to hmne dawaa se kaam lia
Wo nabz nhi phir thamne di, jis nabz ko hmne thaam lia
Bemaar hai Jo kis dharm ka hai..hmse na kabhi ye bhed hua..
Sarhad pe Jo wardi khaki thee.. Uska rang safed hua’
The video has a message which says “Heartfelt gratitude to the COVID warriors who are relentlessly fighting this battle for our safety. We salute and applaud you.” In the end, Akshay himself expresses his gratitude towards our doctors by saying -” Suna that doctors bhagwaan ka roop hote hai par aaj esa lagta hai ki corona virus se ladne ki is chunauti ki ghadiyon me bhagwaan ne doctors ka roop le lia hai”. No wonder the lyrics of this song gives goosebumps.
