So, what is your dream destination? Is it Paris? Or London? Or Alaska? Or are you a Korean lover? As one of the most trending tourist spots for Asians, South Korea is a very cultural country. The key role in South Korea’s commercial development is played by Kpop and the film and drama industries. I won’t be shocked if every Asian household has at least one South Korean fan. I have got the names of some prominent actors and actresses from South Korea here, check them out.
Park Shin-Hye:
Shin-Hye is among the most accomplished actresses in the country, of her age. As a singer, dancer, and actress she is recognized for her performance in Stairway to Heaven melodrama. Her movie debut was in Tree to Heaven, a Korean-Japanese film. She also has an older brother Park Shin-Won, a music composer. Park Shin-Hye has done several projects such as Pinnochio, You’re beautiful, The Heirs, Memories of Alabama to name a few.
Lee Min-Ho:
Min-Ho is the first Korean artist who has a statue of wax in the Madame Tussauds. He got his recognition from his role of Gu Jun-Pyo in one of my favorite k-dramas, Boys Over Flowers. The actor got the role after a tough fight but knew the result through the newspapers that he is in the cast. If we talk about his modeling, singing, and acting career, he is bright in all. Some of Lee Min-Ho‘s most remarkable works can be The Heirs, Hunters, Legend of the Blue Sea, and Personal Taste.
Bae Su-Ji:
Bae Su-Ji, aka, Bae Suzy has been a shining star since her movie debut. The singer-actress showed up on the screen with a television drama Dream High. While her first movie, Architecture 101 brought her the title of “Nation’s First Love” in South Korea. She is also the first Korean actress to get a wax model in Madame Tussauds. Her most recognized works are Vagabond When You Were Sleeping, and Start-Up.
Ji Chang-Wook:
Ji Chang-Wook is a charismatic singer and actor from South Korea. His most renowned work is a daily show Smile Again for his role as Dong Hae. His drama debut was You Stole my Heart, before which he was in musical theatre. Sleeping Beauty is his first film. He worked in different dramas Empress Ki, Lovestruck In The City, The K2, Melting Me Softly, and Suspicious Partner.
Park Min-Young:
Min-Young is an actress, model, and MC Host. On my personal note, I like this actress. Her name rose to fame with her role in Sungkyunkwan Scandal. The Cat, a horror film was her debut on the big screen. Her other works include What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?, Queen For Seven Days, Dr. Jin, City Hunter, Her Private Life, Healer, Glory Jane, and A New Leaf.
Park Bo-Gum:
Park Bo-Gum is the first-ever Korean actor to top the list of Forbes Korean Power Celebrities. He started as a singer-songwriter but then deviated from acting, due to a blissful suggestion. Despite being busy with a career, he maintained a high in his college performance. Some of his most famous works are Reply 1988, Encounter, Love in the Moonlight, and Hello Monster.
Song Hye-Kyo:
Hye-Kyo is a cheerful South Korean celebrity with numerous works in her tab. She ranked 7th in Forbes’s Korean Power Celebrity in 2018. She was recognized with a KBS drama Autumn in My Heart. The actress has something good waiting for us like The Grandmaster, My Brilliant Life, That Winter, the wind blows, Full House, The Queens, and Encounter.
Park Seo-Joon:
The handsome Korean actor showcased his best skills in Kill Me, Heal Me. His first film was The Chronicles of Evil, a thriller film. Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth, Itaewon Class, What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?, and She was Pretty are some of his remarkable dramas. At the same time, besides his debut film, The Divine Fury and Midnight Runners are his best movies.
