Rope: 1948

The movie is based on Patrick Hamilton’s book with the same which was published back in 1929. The production and direction were helmed by Alfred Hitchcock. John Dall, Farley Granger, and James Stewart played major roles in the movie. The film is one of the masterpieces of Hitchcock. He received great acclaim for his exceptional direction skills. 

Bekas: 2012

The film will melt your heart, at the same time motivate you to be a filmmaker. Bekas follows two boys from Kurdistan who travel overseas to meet the superhero of their lives. Zaman Taha and Sarwar Fazil played the roles of two shoe sh ining brothers Dana and Zana, respectively.

The movie is an Oscar holder, I don’t think you will need more persuasion to watch it. The film portrays the story of a middle-class family from Iran. In all the fighting between the couple, their daughter suffers the most.

Iruvar: 1997

The film tells a story of friends turning foe because of power hunger. Iruvar got the highest acclaims as an Indian movie in the Tamil language. The writer, director, and producer, Mani Ratnam went beyond excellence in making Iruvar. 

Aishwarya Rai, Mohanlal, Prakash Raj, and Tabu played key roles in the movie. Mani Ratnam’s Iruvar got dubbed in two more Indian languages Malayalam and Telegu, and the director considers it as his best work.
