Rope: 1948

The movie is based on Patrick Hamilton’s book with the same which was published back in 1929. The production and direction were helmed by Alfred Hitchcock. Iruvar: 1997

The film tells a story of friends turning foe because of power hunger. Iruvar got the highest acclaims as an Indian movie in the Tamil language. The writer, director, and producer, Mani Ratnam went beyond excellence in making Iruvar.
