What After JEE Advanced 2020 Results? Check the process of counselling and further details

Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Delhi has released the result of the Joint Entrance Exam, JEE Advance 2020 on the official website jeeadv.ac.in. This year Chirag Falor from Pune – who has also secured the 1 rank in JEE Mains – has topped in JEE Advance with AIR 1 rank in the list of 1,50,828 aspirants. Among the female candidates, Kanishka Mittal has secured 1 rank with AIR 17.

JoSAA has a responsibility to conduct counselling and provide seats to students as per their filing choices. The process of allotting seats will be begun from tomorrow October 6, 2020. The counselling is conducted as a centralized online admission process for admission into 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and 29 other state-run Government Funded Technical Colleges (GFTIs) along with private institutes. JEE Advances 2020 qualified candidates are being invited for the registration process from tomorrow. Candidates are advised to register themselves as soon as possible so that they can get college as per their choice.

 

JEE Advanced 2020 Counselling process: Step-wise instructions that need to be followed

  • Step 1 is registration
  • Step 2 filing choice and locking their choice of college
  • Step 3 seat allotment process will be started
  • Step 4 students are asked to submit the final fee and report at the centre

 

JEE Advance 2020 cut-off:

IIT Delhi has already released the JEE Advance qualifying cut-off. The below mentioned table is just showing the minimum marks that candidates need to secure in order to apply for the admission to the 23 IITs through JoSAA Counselling.

Admission and seat allotment process to the 23 IITs are on basis of the JEE Advance ranks. Only those candidates who secure the minimum marks as given in the above table are eligible for applying for the admission and will be issued the rank card for the entrance.

It should be noted that the admission cut-off mark will be available at the end of each round of counselling and the cut-off marks will vary for each IIT, each branch, category, and gender, etc.
