WBBSE Class 10th Madhyamik Pariksha 2018 starts today

WBBSE, i.e., West Bengal Board of Secondary Education WBBSE Class 10th Madhyamik Pariksha 2018 commence today.  It will be continued until 22nd March. You can check your exam schedule on

The board examination conducted by WBBSE will be held in about 2819 centers all across the districts. Out of the overall total of 11,02,921 examines, the number of girls was 6,21,366 and number of boys were 4,81,555. As compared to the prior year the rise of about 40,000 students has been increased this year. The number of girls this year is much larger in comparison to boys’ current year.

The new feature in this examination conducted by WBBSE is that it will be conducted in Santhali medium. As per the wording of the official ‘the questions had been prepared in the OI Chiki script. The overall candidates in Santhali medium are nearly about 832who will be appearing at nearly 37 school venues.’

As per the instructions declared at every exam center not only students, teachers would also have to face strict proceedings in case they were found with mobile phones in the examination hall. This action had been taken owing to the last years reported cases regarding the paper leak.

Below is the list of exam schedule of WBBSE Madhyamik Examinations 2018:

12th March– First languages- English, Bengali, Hindi, Gujarati, Nepali, Modern Tibetan, Telugu, Gurmukhi as well as Santali.

13th March– Second language- English, if any other language in place of English is offered as the First language. Nepali or Bengali if English is the First language.

14th March– Geography

16th March– History

17th March– Physical science

19th March– Mathematics

20th March– Life Science

21st March– Optional elective subject

The WBBSE Class 10th examinations conducted at 28189 centers. It will be stated at 11:45 am in the morning 3 pm. The students who will appear for the examination will be given fifteen minutes to read as well as understand the question sheet.
