UPSC Geo-Scientist Prelims Admit Card 2020 has been released on December 26, 2019, by Union Public Service Commission. The aspirants can download the admit card on the official site of UPSC at upsc.gov.in. from December 26 to January 19, 2020. The UPSC has scheduled to conduct computer-based Geo-Scientist Prelims examination on January 19, 2020, comprising of 400 marks.

The preliminary examinations will be conducted in morning and afternoon shifts, one from 9:30 am to 11:30 am (first shift) and the second shift will be from 2 pm to 4 pm. The candidates have to report at the centre at 8 am for the morning shift and 12:30 pm for the afternoon shift.

UPSC Geo-Scientist Prelims Exam Pattern

The questions asked in the examination will be objective type questions and the marks obtained will be counted for deciding the final merit list.

Aspirants who will qualify the Geo-Scientist preliminary written exam will have to appear for the main exam which will be conducted on June 27 and 28, 2020. UPSC Geo-Scientist 2020 examination will fill up 102 posts of Geologists, Chemists, Geophysicists, and Junior Hydro-geologists in the organization.
