UP TGT & PGT Application Process Starts At pariksha.up.nic.in

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Sewa Chayan Board (UPSESSB), Allahabad has released the application form for Uttar Pradesh Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) recruitment 2021.

There are a total of 15,198 vacancies to be filled this year. 15,198 vacancies are released under UPSESSB TGT and PGT Recruitment of which 12,603 for UP TGT and the remaining 2595 vacancies for UP PGT.

 

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for UP TGT and PGT recruitment at the official website –pariksha.up.ac.in. Candidates are advised to check eligibility and qualification criteria before applying for the same.

“Candidates can fill the UP TGT and PGT application form 2021 till April 11, 2021, and make the fee payment till April 13, 2021. Applicant can submit part 2 of the application form by April 15, 2021,“the notification reads.

Earlier, the notification regarding UP TGT & PGT post recruitment was released on November 29, 2020 however it was cancelled due to some reasons.

Eligibility Criteria:

There are separate eligibility criteria for both posts.

For the TGT post – candidates must have graduates degree from recognized universities in relevant subject for which they applying for and B.Ed or equivalent degree.

For the PGT post – Candidates must have postgraduates degree from recognized universities in relevant subject for which they applying for and B.Ed or equivalent degree.

Age limit – Minimum age to apply for the post is 21 years while there is no maximum age limit.

Pattern of UP TGT & PGT exam:

  • There are total of 125 MCQ type question asked on the specific subject only apart from general subjects.
  • The total maximum marks for the written exam is 425.
  • For each correct answer will be allotted 3.4 marks while 3.12 marks will be given to ‘Shiksha Mitra’.
  • The duration of exam is 2 hours
  • There is no negative marking
  • 50 marks are allotted to the interview section and 25 marks for special education.

 

About UP TGT & PGT:

All the candidates who will successfully register for the UPSESSB TGT & PGT recruitment 2021 will have to appear in the written entrance exam having 125 multiple type questions after clearing the written examination, selected candidates will be asked for the interview round.
