Uttar Pradesh exam regulating authority has released the answer key for the written exam of UP Assistant teacher. The written exam was held on 9 January 2019 but the result was withheld due to some constraints. But now after almost 2 years, the answer key has been finally declared. The authorities have assured that the final joining of the students selected under UP Assistant teacher will commence shortly. UP Assistant Teacher cut-off and the final result

The cut-off for the written exam of the teacher was already fixed by the exam board. To get selected the students who appeared in the exam have to clear the cut-off as decided by the authority. Earlier the cut-off for the General was 45% and 40% for the rest of the categories. The authority has declared separate cut-off for all the categories.

About the recruitment of Assistant teacher

The Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulation Authority has announced a recruitment drive for 69,000 assistant teachers in the state back in 2018. The exams were held on 6 January 2019 and lakhs of student appeared for the written exams. But post the exams the government issued a notice to the student citing an increase in the cut-off required to clear the exam. The students started a protest and move to court. After 1 ½ year, the judgement was given in favour of the government.

The answer key has been finally released and the government has said that now there will be no more delay. CM Yogi has also assured that the joining for the posts will be done as soon as possible.
