The Nation Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date applying for UGC NET 2021 from March 2 to March 9. Candidates, who have not applied yet, can fill the net exam 2021 application form at the official website of NET UGC- ugcnet.nta.nic.in
As per the revised schedule, last date to pay the application fee for UGC NET 2021 is March 10. Also, NTA will now open the UGC NET 2021 application form correction window from March 12 to March 16.
UGC net 2021 examination is scheduled to be held from May 2 to May 17 in online mode.

Candidates are advised to check the pattern and syllabus for UGC NET 2021 examination so that they can prepare accordingly. As per the notification released by the UGC NET, the exam will be conducted on May 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 14, and 17.

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned step to fill the registration form for UGC NET 2021-
- Go to the official website of UGC NET – ugcnet.nta.nic.in
- On the homepage click on the links that reads ‘UGC NET 2021’
- complete the registration process
- fill the UGC NET 2021 application form
- upload the required documents and scanned photograph
- pay the application fee through NET Banking/ Debit Card/UPI
- preview the filled form and submit the UGC NET 2021 application form for may session
- take a print out of the application form for further reference
Applicants are advised to keep their registration/application form safely as it can be asked in the future. Candidates who successfully apply for the UGC NET 2021, can download admit which will be made available 15 days before commencement of exam.

UGC net exam is conducted twice every year to issue eligible certificates to all qualified candidates. UGC NET 2021 exam certificate validity for lectureship is a lifetime whereas the fellowship certificate is valid only for 3 years. UGC NET exam is divided into two categories – NET JRF and Assistant Professor.
