UG Admission Process 2020 Begins In Haryana, Launches Online Platform

For considering the safety norms of the students, CM Manohar Lal Khattar has launched the online platform for the academic year 2020-2021 admission amid the pandemic.

Haryana UG Admissions 2020: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday launched an online portal for the admission in undergraduate programs in the government running and self-finance college for the new academic year. With the help of this platform, the student will easily get information regarding their courses and will be able o complete their whole process of admission while sitting at home.

For the convenience of the students, Khattar has also launched the first of its kind education where the students can ask their queries on WhatsApp. He launched the WhatsApp chatbox regarding the admission, scholarship, and ‘Apka Mitra’. Apka Mitra is made to resolve the admission related queries of the students.

Students are required to send a message on WhatsApp chatbox number 7419444449 to get information about admission and scholarship. A new web portal of Higher Education Department, the website of 158 government college and online international journal namely journal of humanities and Social Science prepared by the department to promote research in the state was also launched b he CM,  “ a government spokesperson said.

The online admission portal that is launched on Monday, has been designed by the NIC in collaboration with the Higher Education Department.

For the betterment of the students, the government took a great initiative. Amid the Covid-19, the government has released all the registrations and prospectus fee of all undergraduate courses. A grievance redressal helpdesk number -18001373735- has been issued to help the students to fill their admission forms. Besides this, the government has also give separate attention to the, especially challenged students by giving a missed call on mobile number 7419444449 in regarding assist them in filling a form.

During the virtual launch, Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal and senior officials were also present. In his addressed ceremony, Khattar said, “this effort will help colleges and universities to raise their standard by adopting information technology. These efforts should also be made to attract several foreign universities to set their campuses in Haryana so that the youth can be benefitted.

Education minister Kanwar Pal said the online system will strengthen the admission process with the consistency of transparency. Out government always pays attention to education and makes youth more productive and employable.

“In the ongoing pandemic our focus is to provide better education to the students along with providing online skill programs and education that boost their career in the upcoming year”, he added.
