NEET Counselling 2020 Schedule: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the complete counselling schedule of NEET 2020, for 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) and seats offered by Central and Deemed Universities.

The registration for NEET 2020 counselling process will begin from October 27, 2020, and will continue to November 2, 2020, till 5 pm in the first round and the second round counselling will end on November 22, 2020. Candidates are advised to keep themselves ready with the relevant documents and fee can also be paid by the same date November 2, 2020, till 7 pm.

NEET 2020 counselling will offer admission to Medical, Dental, and related fields. Students who have cleared the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) can participate in counselling process begin from October 27, 2020. Candidates who scored the 50 percentile or more in the same can register themselves at the official website of MCC – mcc.nic.in.

The counselling will be done in two rounds and there is also a mop-up round for Central and Deemed Universities, AIIMS, and JIPMER institutes will start on December 10.

The result of the first seat allotment will be declared on November 5, 2020. Candidates who keen to take the admission in college given to them will have to report at the allotted college from November 6 to 12. After reporting at the given college students will also have to undergo document verification. Candidates are free to accept or reject the seat and can wait for the second allotment seat.

As per the report, MCC has decided that the earlier criteria of 15 % AIQ wherein total candidates called for counselling were five times the number of seats available for the allotment were (as per previous settlement) has been abolished. All candidates will be eligible till the exhaustion of seats. However, after the second round of counselling for AIQ, the candidates who take admission in all India Quota seats should not be permitted to vacate seats as par the direction of the Supreme Court.
