Life Insurance Corporation has released the notification for the LIC AAO under various disciplines for 168 vacancies. LIC is the most trustable insurance company and has been providing various insurance such as General, Life, Accidental etc insurance cover to its employees.
The notification was released in February 2020, the application process was over by March 2020. The preliminary exam was scheduled to be conducted in April 2020 but was delayed citing COVID-19. LIC has released the delay notice for the preliminary exam. The notice reads that the AAO exam will be conducted once the lockdown is lifted and conditions become normal.

LIC AAO Exam Pattern
Phase 1- Preliminary Exam
This is the first stage of the recruitment process it is a 1-hour exam comprising of 3 subjects. There are prescribed sectional timing for each subject and a total of 100 questions are asked at this level.

Final Selection in the AAO
The final selection will be based on the (mains + interview) marks obtained by the candidate. If the candidate clears all the sectional as well as the mains cut-off, he will be called for the interview. Post this, he will be assessed in the personality test and LIC will draw an overall cut-off. Only those candidates who will pass both the stages will be selected for the job.
