Law Entrance Exam LSAT India 2020 To Be Held Online Due To Covid 19 Pandemic

LSAT India 2020: The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) India has now moved online to enable candidates to take the test from the convenience of their home. From a paper to pen test, the step has been taken in ensuring social distancing due to ongoing coronavirus pandemic all over the world.  The Law Entrance Exam LSAT India 2020 will be conducted from June 14 using an online test delivery system while the registration has been extended to May 22.

This is for the first time, US-based LSAC (Law School Admission Council) has decided to administer the LSAT-India 2020 entrance examination online due to the Covid-19 pandemic,” the LSAC said in an official statement. O.P Jindal University conducts its entrance examination through LSAT in India.

AI (Artificial Intelligence) -enabled remote-proctors will monitor the candidates. This includes a recording of the candidates’ exam for review to protecting the integrity of the exam process. The link will be shared with the registered aspirants.

Aspirants will continue to register for the LSAT-India by visiting discoverlaw.in/register-for-the-test.

LSAC’s President and CEO Kellye Testy has said in a statement that the worldwide pandemic COVID-19 has clearly impacted on how we live and on how business is conducted around the world. This is also affecting the academic pursuits of millions of students everywhere.

Testy further added that they have partnered with Pearson VUE (Virtual University Enterprises) that will offer students a technologically advanced entrance exam this year. The online test delivery system has technical features that ensure the convenience, transparency, and integrity of the testing process, without sacrificing security.

Raj Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU), appreciated the move and said that Law School Admission Test–India (LSAT-India) has given hope and aspiration by launching this examination in an online format.
