JEE MAIN 2020 Answer Key Released By Resonance

JEE Main 2020 Answer key has been released by coaching institutes Resonance and Career 360 before the release of official JEE Main Answer Key. The candidates can download the answer key of these coaching institutes to compare and calculate their probable score before the announcement of the result. The JEE Main exam 2020 was held on January 6 for BTech aspirants and continued till January 9 in two shifts, that is, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

There are three papers in JEE Main this year:

  1. Paper-1 for BTech aspirants,
  2. Paper-2 for BArch, and
  3. Paper-3 for B.Planning

NTA (National Testing Agency) will release the official answer key of JEE Main 2020 through the official website for the January exam.

Steps to Download JEE Main 2020 Official AnswerKey

According to some sources, the NTA officials will release the Final JEE Main 2020 AnswerKey on January 23, 2020, tentatively. The aspirants can follow the below steps to download the JEE Main 2020 Official AnswerKey.

Step 1: Visit the JEE Main official website

Step 2: You will see an option: Display Question Papers and Responses. Click on it.

Step 3: Select any of the two options – “Through Application Number and Date of Birth” or “Through Application Number and Password”.

Step 4: Fill your Application Number, Date of Birth/Password, and Security PIN.

Step 5: Click on “Login”

Step 6: JEE Main 2020 Final answer key will appear on your screen. Download it.

Step 7: Also take a printout for future reference.

How To Challenge JEE Main Answer Key 2020?

The following is the step by step process of how a candidate can challenge JEE Main Answer Key 2020 once the official JEE Main answerkey is released:

Step 1: Visit the JEE Main official website

Step 2: You will see a “Challenge JEE Main 2020 Answer Key” tab on the screen

Step 3: For login: Select any of the two options – “Through Application Number and Date of Birth” or “Through Application Number and Password”.

Step 4: Select any required questions with ID numbers against which you want to raise objections. Fill the correct option and click on submit.

Step 5: The candidates have to upload the ‘Supporting Documents’ on the official website justifying his/ her correct response.

Step 6: Save your claim and continue for the payment of INR 1000 (for each question) through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking.

Note:  Your processing fee will be refunded if your challenge is found correct.

The aspirants who will qualify JEE Main 2020 will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2020 which will be conducted on May 17, 2020. And those who qualify JEE Advanced 2020, will be shortlisted for final admissions to IITs.

Marking Scheme of JEE Main 2020 for B.E./B.Tech

For every correct answer in MCQ, the candidates get four marks and for every incorrect answer, one marks are deducted. No marks are given for any unanswered or marked for review questions.

In the case of numerical based questions, the candidates get four marks for every correct answer. No marks are deducted for an incorrect answer and no marks are allotted for any unanswered or marked for review questions. Check below the marking scheme of JEE Main 2020 for B.E./B.Tech aspirants.
