IISc KVPY Result 2020-21 Announced; Check Cut-Off Here

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has released the result for the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) 2020 scholarship program exam. The students, who appeared in the exam, can check the result through the official website- kvpy.iisc.ernet.in.

The IISc KVPY exam was scheduled to be held on January 31, 2021. The result announced stream-wise for SA, SB, and SX stream. The IISc Bangalore had announced the KVPY merit list along with cut-off marks.

The merit list is made available in PDF format separately for each stream and category which mention the provisionally selected students’ name, roll number, application number and All India Rank (AIR).

 

IISc KVPY Result 2020-21: Steps to check

Students can follow the below-mentioned steps to download the IISc KVPY 2020 result.

  • Visit the result official website – kvpy.iisc.ernet.in
  • On the homepage, click on the link that reads “KVPY result 2020”
  • Click on the respective stream
  • Search with students roll number or application number/registration which is available
  • Name of the selected candidates will be appeared stream-wise on the screen
  • Click on the download button and take a printout of the result for future reference

“The marks have not been declared yet, it is expected that scorecard will be updated soon at the official website, the official notification said.”

 

IISc KVPY cut-off Marks:

For general category candidates-

Stream Cut-off
SA 52 % or above
SX 52 % and above
SB 47 % and above

 

For reserved category candidates SC/ST-

Stream Cut-off
SA 40 % and above
SX 40 % and above
SB 35 % and above

 

For PwD candidates-

Stream Cut-off
SA 40 % and above
SX 40 % and above
SB 35 % and above

The KVPY is a national level scholarship program up to pre-Ph.D level. Every year, the IISc invites applications for their scholarship program where candidates get admission through an aptitude test followed by interview.
