CAT 2020 statistics:
IIM Indore successfully conducted CAT 2020 on November 29 in Computer-Based Mode (CBT), after the conclusion of the CAT 2020 exams, the CAT convener released the slot wise CAT 2020 statistics about the total number of candidates who appeared for the exam. Out of the total 2,27,835 candidates who registered for CAT 2020, 1,90,143 candidates appeared for it in overall three slots. As per the CAT 2020 statistics, the number of registered male candidates were 1,47,699, and female candidates were 8,01,35.
How to apply top IIMs:
After the declaration of CAT result 2020, candidates will be required to apply for MBA admission to IIMs, IITs and leading B-schools of India. Once the CAT 2020 result is declared, candidates should start preparing for the next round which includes – GD, WAT, and PI rounds. On the basis of CAT result, candidates need to shortlist B-school and apply accordingly. Top B-schools allow admission after the declaration of the CAT 2020 result.

It is an expected cutoff for general category students. Respective IIMs will declare their cutoff soon. The final CAT 2020 cutoff is yet to be released tentatively in the second week of January 2021 and will be much higher depending on the institute.
