IIM CAT 2020 online application date extended till September 23

IIM CAT 2020: Here is good news for those students who did not apply for the CAT examination 2020 yet.  Interested candidates can apply by September 23 till 5 at the official website iimcat.ac.in. The exam to be held on November 29.

The IIM aspirants can now apply for the Common Admission Test CAT 2020 till September 23 as the application deadline which was decided to close on September 16 has been extended. The interested candidate can now fill the application form by 23 September till 5 pm at iimcat.ac.in. The exam is scheduled to be held on November 29.

Because of the disturbance which was invoked by the Covid-19 pandemic, the aspirants of the CAT 2020 are facing many problems. “In response to the disruption caused by COVID during the Common Admission Test 2020 registration period and the continuing difficulty faced by candidates in procuring the document necessary for timely registration, the Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) have decided to extend the CAT 2020 application deadline to September 23,” the IIM Indore – exam organizing institute said in an official statement.

1. Visit the official website iimcat.ac.in
2. Click o ‘register’
3. Fill the details, verify
4. Fill the form, upload the image
5. Pay fee, submit

Fee structure

Candidates belonging to the general category will be required to pay an online registration fee of INR 2,000, while those from ST-SC and PwD category will have to pay INR 1,000. The hall ticket or admit card of CAT 2020 will be available for download from 28 October onwards.

Exam pattern

CAT 2020 will be held in three sessions. The exam will be held for 120 minutes. The candidates can not switch to the other section from one section while answering the questions.

CAT is being conducted for admission to different management courses, including  PGDM, PGP, PGPEM, EPGP, PGPBM, and PGPEX.
