IGNOU Admission 2020: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for admission for the July session last date to apply is November 15, 2020. It is an opportunity for those students who have not filled the application form by an earlier decided date. October 31, 2020, was decided the last date to submit the application form but due to the present cases of pandemic the deadline has been extended till November 15, 2020, for the safety of students.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply at the official website of IGNOU –ignou.ac.in. Students are free to apply for various courses except certificate and semester-based programs.
According to IGNOU notification, “This extension of the deadline shall not apply to certificate and semester-based programs, that is, MP, MPB, PGDMM, PGDFM, PGDHRM, PGDOM, BBPOFA, MCA, PGDIS, and a certificate and awareness courses of six-month duration or less.”
The notification of extending the deadline has been issued by the authority on its tweeter handle account. This is for the fourth time that the authority has to extend the last date to apply for admission.

- Visit the official website of the IGNOU –ignou.ac.in
- On the homepage click on the “registration link” or “admission”
- After clicking on the link students will be negotiated to the new page where students need to enter their credential
- Click on the submit button
- Fill the required information and Make a payment
- Click on the submit button and take a print out of the registration form for further reference.

Candidates can apply for a variety of courses in bachelor’s, post-graduate, and diploma, PG diploma programs, PG certificate, and Appreciation/Awareness level programs. Samarth Portal of IGNOU has been specially designed to simplify the registration process for the next semester of year for existing students.
Once the application form is submitted, students can track their course details and the progress of their admission. A message will be sent on the mobile number and email ID registered with the system once the admission is confirmed.
