IGNOU Admission 2020: IGNOU has launched the Bachelor of Business Administration (Services Management) programme in collaboration with Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Limited (MKCL) for 10+2 pass candidates. With work experience, students will get a monthly stipend from the company. The interested candidates can apply for the course through IGNOU official website (http://www.ignou.ac.in/) till June 10, 2020. The entrance examination will be conducted on June 14, 2020.
For 3 years, the candidates will gain practical experience from the company while pursuing studies. After successful completion of the programme, the students will receive work experience certificate given by the company. The learning materials will be provided in a laptop or tablet or a smartphone to students.
Due to COVID 19 outbreak and following social distancing norms, IGNOU has provided study material online and has launched services like ‘Gyan Darshan’ and ‘Gyan Vani’ to reach out to students. The oriented sessions were conducted using Facebook’s live feature where students put their queries in the comments section.
Eligibility for stipend based BBA programme for July 2020 session
BBA is the 3-year degree programme with two semesters each year. Check below the eligibility.
- Passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized institution as on July 1, 2020.
- Candidates have attained a minimum of 18 years of age on July 1, 2020
- Has cleared the entrance exam conducted by the university for said admission
- Working / Willing to work in the services industry full time as an Apprentice/ intern/ Employee

The student enrols for admission in The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) twice a year: in January and in June session. For some courses, the university accepts application form through merit list and for some, it conducts entrance examinations.
The study material is now available on the IGNOU website (e-Gyankosh) in digital form and also on IGNOU e-content App. The app can be downloaded from the Google Play store. The scanned copies of handwritten assignments are now submitted through email by the students following the social distancing norms. The postal services have been stopped.
IGNOU also offers MBA, Masters in Business Administration programme through OPENMAT entrance exam which is conducted by the NTA (National Testing Agency). It has exit options after PG Diploma.
