ICSI Announced Revised Dates Of Postponed Exams For December CS Examination 2019

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has announced the revised dates of postponed exams for CS examination 2019 on December 24, 2019. The CS examinations scheduled on 20^th, 21^st, 23^rd, and 24^th December 2019 will now commence on December 31, 2019, January 1, January 2, and January 3, 2020. The CS exams timings will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The exams dates are for both CS Executive and Professional programmes.

The CS aspirants should note that the examination schedule and timings from December 26 to December 30, 2019, as announced will remain the same. The ICSI admit card will still remain valid despite the change of dates of examinations. Also, check the website (given below) for regular updates.

The CS examinations for Executive and Professional programmes got postponed because of protests against NRC (National Register of Citizens) and CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) all over India.

ICSI CS examinations are held twice a year: June and December. Currently, 3.5 lakh students are enrolled in the ICSI CS exam.

The ICSI exam which was about to commence on Friday, December 20, 2019, earlier was scheduled to start from December 23, 2019. But, exams on December 23 and December 24, 2019, got postponed, and now the CS examinations will schedule from December 26, 2019.

CS aspirants have to qualify in the pre-exam in order to be eligible for the CS examination which was held in October for December session. The CS pre-exam is a mandatory exam for the Professional programme and Executive programme students, according to the new syllabus of ICSI, to be eligible for enrolling for the December 2019 session.

According to the previous notification, the ICSI Result 2019 for both CS Professional and CS Executive Exams will be released in February 2020. But as the exams are postponed which may lead to a delay in exam results.
