ICAI CA May Exam 2020 postponed, Check new dates here

ICAI CA May Exam 2020: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has postponed the CA May Exam. Now the exams will be held in June-July, considering the current situation due to coronavirus outbreak. The CA May new exam dates have been uploaded on the ICAI official website at icai.org.

The ICAI announced the same notification in a tweet as well. “In the interest of the well- being of students and in view of the ongoing spurt of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chartered Accountant (CA) Examinations initially scheduled from May 2, 2020, to May 19, 2020 stand rescheduled. The notification read as that the CA examinations shall now be held from June 19, 2020, to July 4, 2020.”

The notice released by ICAI also reads “CA Foundation course exam is to be held along with Final Group II examinations on June 27, 29 and July 1, 3 and the post qualification course examination-INTT-AT is to be held along with Final Group II exam on June 27, 29, whereas ITL and WTO exam are to be held along with 4 papers, group 1 of intermediate (IPC)/ intermediate exam,”.

On March 26, ICAI released a statement informing the CA candidates about the current articled training program. The candidates who have already registered and undergoing articled training, their absence because of lockdown due to COVID -19 pandemic shall be counted as being on article ship training. The absence period will not be counted for the purposes of deduction of any leaves.

SEBI Grade A Recruitment 2020

Securities and Exchange Board of India has again extended the application deadline for the Grade A exam. The exam which was supposed to be held for various posts of SEBI Grade A officers has already been postponed, in the light of Covid-19 pandemic. This is the 4th time in a row that SEBI has extended the dates after releasing the notification.

SEBI has extended the dates for the application and fee payment for the 4th time this year. SEBI has released the notification for the SEBI Grade A in March 2020 inviting applications under various posts. The announcement was made on the official website on 26th May 2020.

Timeline of SEBI Grade A 2020

The Grade A exams have already been deferred due to the ongoing corona pandemic. Earlier SEBI has also announced that it has revised the dates of the Pre and Mains exam date. With this announcement SEBI has given additional time to all the students who wish to fill the form of SEBI Grade A. Also, this clearly summarises that the pre-exam has been postponed indefinitely. How to apply?

The application process for the vacancies notified under the SEBI Grade A recruitment will be done online. The candidates have to follow all the basic steps released by the exam authorities:

  • Visit the official website of the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
  • Register yourself on the website and then proceed further.
  • Fill all of your personal details that are asked in the form. After filling all your personal details, name, date of birth, gender. Note down the login credentials.
  • Enter all the details correctly regarding the marks, date of birth etc.
  • After this enter your academic qualifications, grades, total marks.
  • Lastly, take a printout of the application form and keep it for future use.
  • The department will not charge any fee from any applicant.
  • If a candidate is already working anywhere, then he must have to show his NOC during Document Verification.

Grade A Exam Pattern

The exam of SEBI Grade A will be conducted in two phases viz Preliminary and Mains. The questions asked will be objective in nature in both the phases, and there will be negative marking for wrong answers. Let’s have a quick look at the exam pattern of both the phases.

Eligibility for the recruitment

Bihar Board 10th Result 2020: Over 15 lakh students will get BSEB Matric Results Today Afternoon

Bihar Board 10th Result 2020: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is all set to declare BSEB matric results today afternoon at 12:30 PM, as confirmed by Bihar Board Chairman Anand Kishore. BSEB Matric Results 2020 will be declared on official websites onlinebseb.in and biharboardonline.com. The confirmation has brought a huge sigh of relief to over more than 15 lakhs students.

The evaluation process was put on hold due to which there is a delay in declaration of the results in respect to the lockdown imposed by the government. The Board will not conduct any press conference. Last year the pass percentage was 80.73 per cent and Sawan Raj Bharti, topped the matric exam scoring 97.2% marks, a student of Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya in Jamui.

The examination was conducted from February 17 to 24 and the evaluation resumed on May 6 and was completed last week. Earlier in 2019, BSEB declared the Matric results with a record of 29 days, on April 6. The 2019 BSEB matric results were conducted on February 21 to 28. A total of 1.7 lakh students appeared for the Bihar state board examination, out of which 6,36,046 were female and 6,83,990 were male students.

Why is the preliminary exam delayed?

The UPSC has declared the calendar of the UPSC CSE 2020-21 calendar in the beginning of the year. According to the table, the application process was completed in March 2020 for recruitment. The much anticipated IBPS CRP PO IX results are finally out on the official website for around 4783 vacancies. IBPS conducts the recruitment process for Probationary officers in all the nationalised banks of India. The final result of the IBPS PO 2019 was pending since 1st April 2020.
