Eligibility for IOCL

The organisation has notified for a total of 600 IOCL Apprentice under different disciplines. The eligibility for the apprentice under different streams is given below:

  • The candidate should fall between the age range of 18-27 years.
  • The candidate must be a citizen of India
  • He must have all the relevant experience and qualification for the post.

Educational Qualification for IOCL Apprentice

The students who will be applying for the various vacancies released by the IOCL should have a look at the eligibility criteria:

Technician Apprentice (Mechanical The candidates must have completed his Class XII /Diploma from a recognized Board as a regular full-time course with 50% marks.

The candidates must possess 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized Institute with 50 % marks.

Technician Apprentice (Electrical) The candidates must have completed his Class XII /Diploma from a recognized Board as a regular full-time course with 50% marks.

The candidates must possess 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Institute with 50 % marks.

Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation The candidates must have completed his Class XII /Diploma from a recognized Board as a regular full-time course with 50% marks.

The candidates must possess 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering from recognized Institute with 50 % marks.

Technician Apprentice (Electrical & Electronics) The candidates must have completed his Class XII /Diploma from a recognized Board as a regular full-time course with 50% marks.

The candidates must possess 3 years Diploma in Electronics Engineering from recognized Institute with 50 % marks.

Technician Apprentice (Civil) The candidates must have completed his Class XII /Diploma from a recognized Board as a regular full-time course with 50% marks.

The candidates must possess 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized Institute with 50 % marks.

Trade Apprentice (Fitter) – The candidates must have completed his Class XII /Diploma from a recognized Board as a regular full-time course with 50% marks

The candidates must be a full-time fitter with NCVT.

Trade Apprentice (Electrician The candidates must have completed his Class XII /Diploma from a recognized Board as a regular full-time course with 50% marks.

The candidates must be a full-time Electrician with NCVT.

Trade Apprentice (Instrument Mechanic) The candidates must have completed his Class XII /Diploma from a recognized Board as a regular full-time course with 50% marks.

The candidates must be a full-time Instrument Mechanic with NCVT.

Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator) The candidates must have completed his Class XII /Diploma from a recognized Board as a regular full-time course with 50% marks.

How to Apply for Apprenticeship?

The application process for the vacancies notified under the IOCL Apprentice will be done online. The candidates have to follow all the basic steps released by the exam authorities:

  • Visit the official website of the Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
  • Register yourself on the website and then proceed further.
  • Fill all of your personal details that are asked in the form. After filling all your personal details, name, date of birth, gender. Note down the login credentials.
