GMAT Candidates Are Now Allowed To Appear With ‘Aadhar Card’ As A Valid ID Proof

The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) today announced to accept the ‘Aadhar Card’ as valid ID proof for the GMAT online examination. Earlier, candidates were required to appear GMAT exam with a passport as a verified identity proof but now candidates can also use ‘Aadhar Card’ to verify their identity.

However, the ‘Aadhar Card’ is presently only applicable for the online GMAT exam and not for the test venue exam. For the test centre, candidates have to bring passport as a valid identity proof to verify their identity. Passport will remain the sole form of verification.

  2. Redirect to UIDAI
  3. Download your XML file
  4. Upload the XML file and selfie image
  5. Once verification done, the aspirants will be negotiated to complete the registration process

GMAC also claims, “since the GMAT online version of the exam has been launched, more than 45,000 exams have been delivered in about 150 countries, territories, and special administrative regions in support of global demand.”
