FMGE 2020: NBE Released Application Form for December Session, Exam Scheduled to be held on December 4

National board of examination will organize the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE); the exam will be conducted in online mode. Interested candidates can apply from today October 8, 2020

FMGE 2020: NBE conducts FMGE screening test twice a year for the June and December session for Indian and Overseas citizen of India (OCIs). Indian Citizen/Overseas Citizens of India possessing a primary medical qualification awarded by any Medical Institution outside India who is willing to get permanent registration from the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Councils (SCI) on or after March 15, 2020, shall have to qualify the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination FMGE/Screening test.

National Board of Examination has decided to conduct the FMGE examination on December 4, 2020. The exam will be conducted in online mode at various FMGE exam centres provided by the authority across India. FMGE 2020 registration starts on October 8, 2020.

FMGE information bulletin for the December session has been released on the official website for the December session with a change in exam centres. As per the notification, FMGE 2020 examination for the December session will be conducted in 46 cities. A total of 10 FMGE cities have been added and a total of seven cities have been deducted.

  2. Chandigarh
  3. Coimbatore
  4. Gangtok
  5. Imphal
  6. Kannur
  7. Kohima
  8. Mehsana
  9. Raipur
  10. Srinagar

7 deducted cities are:

  1. Gurugram
  2. Greater Noida
  3. Ghaziabad
  4. Gandhinagar
  5. Mohali
  6. Noida
  7. Vellore

FMGE 2020 application form for the December session will be released on October 8 by 3.00 pm. Only the eligible student can apply for the examination. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the same. Applicants will be able to download the FMGE 2020 hall ticket/ admit card for the December session, only after the successful registration, from the November 28, in online mode.

To download the admit card of FMGE 2020 students need to carry the registration number or user id and password. Students are advised to take a print out of all the relevant documents such as application form and admit card for future reference.

“The deadline for applying for the FMGE 2020 December session is October 28, 2020, till 11:55 pm. Application form for the FMGE 2020 can only be submitted online at the official website nbe.edu.in.”

The FMGE results in 2020 will be announced by mid-December expecting on 20 December 2020. The FMGE results comprise the details like roll number, the score obtained by the applicants out of 300, and the qualifying status of candidates. To qualify the exam, candidates have to secure at least 150 marks out of 300 marks.

“After the announcement of the result, NBE will declare FMGE pass certificate distribution schedule, which can be downloaded from the official website of NBE – nbe.edu.in or natboard.edu.in.”
