HPBOSE 12th result 2020: The Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) is set to declare the class 12 results today (June 18) at 11:30 am on its official website, hpbose.org. HPBOSE Class 12 exams were conducted from March 4 to March 27, but some papers got cancelled due to the nationwide lockdown in the country due to COVID-19. This resulted in a delay in the process of evaluation of answer sheets. Last year, the HPBOSE class 12 results were declared on April 22.
Later, the HP board decided not to conduct the pending fifth subject, Geography paper and award the marks is proportional to the highest marks scored in other four subjects for which the exam was conducted. The practical marks will be given on the basis of marks obtained in the respective schools.
HPBOSE has already declared class 10th board exam results on June 9. More than 70,000 students passed the examination with an overall pass percentage of 68.11. The student, Tanu of Kangra district became the topper of the state with 98.71% in class 10th board exams.
How to check HP board 12th result 2020:
Students may follow the below steps to check their HP Board class 12th
Step 1: Visit the official website at hpbose.org
Step 2: You will see the link on the homepage that reads, “HPBOSE 12th result 2020”
Step 3. Click and a new page will appear on the screen
Step 4. Enter your credentials like roll number and other necessary details
Step 5. The results will be displayed on the screen
The students can also check their 12th results via SMS in the following format:
SMS send it to 56263- HP12ROLL NUMBER
The students need to score at least 33 per cent marks in every four subjects conducted to pass the 12th examination.
Last year, 2019, about 95,492 students appeared in the HPBOSE class 12 examination. Out of which, 58,949 students passed the exam with an overall pass percentage of 62.01%. From 95,492 students, 49, 136 were male candidates and 45,784 were female candidates.
In class 12th result 2019, Ashmita Sharma topped the board in the field of arts by scoring 96.4 % marks, while Sakshi Thakur stood second at 96%. One boy from science, Kartikeya Koshal stood third at 95.8%.
