Haryana HBSE Class 10 Result 2020 Not Releasing Today

Haryana HBSE Result 2020: The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has made a statement on late Sunday night that HSBC class 10 result 2020 will be released only after holding the Science subject examination which was cancelled earlier amid the COVID 19 lockdown. The Board’s chairman, Jagbir Singh has confirmed that the plan to release the results today (June 8, 2020) now stands cancelled to the media.

The news has definitely disappointed lakhs of students who were expecting to check their results today on the official website bseh.org.in.

Also, not all students of the state need to appear for the science examination. This is applicable only for the students who wish to take up the science stream (PCM or PCB). Other students may appear for the examination as well in July who wishes to improve their score.

Informing about the decision to not declare the Haryana board Class 10 results today (Monday), BSEH secretary Rajiv Prasad and Board chairman Jagbir Singh said that in accordance with the direction of the education department of Haryana, the class 10 results will now be declared only after the conduct and evaluation of science paper. They further said that passing in Class 10 science paper examinations is compulsory for students who wish to take up the science stream in Class 11 for further studies.

“The students who do not wish to proceed with the Science subject may abstain from taking the examination, as average marks of the pending subjects will be awarded to them,” the official added.

About 3,38,096 students appeared for the HSBC class 10 examination, out of which 1,51,943 were girls and 1,86,153 were boys. The Board of Secondary Education, Haryana (BSEH) was also to declare the results of 9,445 students of class 10 who were a “re-appear case”.

The HSBC class 10 students have appeared for English, social sciences, mathematics, and Hindi exams while science and an optional exam of physical education/ fine arts/ Sanskrit/ music, etc, are still on hold.

The class 10 and 12 examinations of the state was postponed on March 19 in wake of coronavirus outbreak. About 7.41 lakh students have registered for class 12 and class 10 board examinations.
