EPFO SSA 2019 Skill Test Latest Update_ Check the update here

The Employees Provident Fund Organisation has released an important update regarding the EPFO SSA skill test. The EPFO Social Security Assistant final results were published in February 2020. But, citing the COVID-19 outbreak, the skill test and joining process was deferred by the EPFO authorities. The authorities have assured the students that the fresh dates will be released soon, once the situations are under control. Timeline of EPFO SSA recruitment

The recruitment of EPFO SSA was released back in June 2019 for around 2200 vacancies. The phase 1 and phase 2 exams were conducted in August and October 2019. The skill test was earlier due in the month of March 2020 but was deferred due to nationwide lockdown. The timeline of the EPFO SSA recruitment is as follows:

About the notice by EPFO

The students who were anxiously waiting for the EPFO skill test must have a sign of relief. On 12 May 2020, the authorities have released a notice as the update of the EPFO SSA skill test. The notice reads that the skill test has been deferred citing nationwide lockdown. The students who have been waiting for the date have to wait a little more. The authorities will soon take a decision regarding the new dates. The authorities have asked the students to keep a regular check on the official website.

Once the skill test is completed, the students who will be placed in the final merit list will be allotted offices.

Skill Test for Social Security Assistant

The SSA notification released by the EPFO contains the details of the skill test for the students selected in phase 2. The students who will appear for the skill test have to keep these points in mind:

  • The skill test will be of qualifying in nature and its marks will not be added for the final merit list.
  • The students will have to give the skill test on the computer and not type-writer.
  • The students who wish to ace this test have to type at a speed of 5000 depression per hour.
  • The skill test will be completed in the English language only.
