JoSAA 2020 Second Round Seat Allotment Process Begun; Check Detail here

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the second round of the seat allotment process on its official website – josaa.nic.in.

JoSAA 2020 counselling: Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2020 counselling for round 2 has been started at the official website of JoSAA- josaa.nic.in. The list for the second round seat allotment process can be checked online by joining the counselling process. The result for the second round counselling has been released today. Students need to log in at josaa.nic.in to check the same.

Candidates who want to take admission to undergraduate engineering programs in IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs can check the JoSAA second round seat allotment result. To access the JoSAA round two seat allotment result, students have to log in at the JoSAA website with their JEE Main 2020 application number and password; the credential ID.

Candidates, who have secured their name in the second list of the seat allotment processes, will now have to fill a choice to select the college and courses allotted to them. Those who wish to proceed further can report the allotted college by uploading documents and paying the fee. JoSAA has allotted seats to the candidates on the basis of the ranks they obtained, options entered during the online JoSSA application, and availability of seats. The allocation authority had announced the first round of counselling on October 17, 2020.

The last date to pay the fee to the allotted college is October 23, 2020, in the second round seat allotment counselling process. Candidates are free to respond to queries if any raised by authority from October 22 to October 24.

 

JoSAA 2020 Counselling: How to check

Step 1: Visit the official website of JoSAA – josaa.nic.in

Step 2: On the home page, click on the link which shows “result link”

Step 3: Now candidates are negotiated to the login section; login via credential ID

Step 4: Displaying the second round list of seat allotment, the student can either accept or reject the seat as per their wish

 

Till 2019, JoSAA is used to conduct counselling in seven rounds but due to the pandemic, it will be held in six rounds in 2020. The admission process will begin on November 9, 2020.

Admission in UG courses in IITs, IIITs, NITs, and GFTIs is done on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in JEE Mains 2020 and JEE Advanced 2020 through the JoSAA online counselling.
