Andhra Pradesh on the way to conduct CETs exam from September 10

AP CET 2020:  Amid the COVID-19, Andhra Pradesh government has decided to conduct the Common Entrance Test from September 10, following the COVID 19 instruction or guidelines issued by the Government of India.

Every year thousands of students apply for the CETs exam. Common Entrance Exam is a competitive exam; it is conducted for the purpose of allowing students to take admission of full-time courses in medical, dental and engineering courses in the professional college of several of the states.

As per the report, Dates for Andhra Pradesh Common Entrance Tests have been announced. Minister of education Adimulapu Suresh said that AP CETs will be started from September 10, following the major Covid-19 guidelines issued by the Government of India.

CETs exams in Andhra Pradesh will begin with the Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICE 2020) which is scheduled o be conducted in four sessions on 10 and 11 September, followed by the Engineering Common Entrance Tests (AP ECET 2020)   on September 14.

All the information regarding CETs exams are available on the official website sche.ap.gov.in,  the website of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will provide all the information related to exam dates, hall ticket, exam day instruction.

To ensure the safety of students, the official authorities have increased the number of examination centres to accommodate fewer students in each slot. This is done to ensure the safety of the students

The government has instructed all allotted centres to provide masks and gloves to all the candidates and they will be thermally scanned before entering the exam venue. The Minister has assured the parents that all safety precautions have been taken into consideration in the place.

It is a challenging time for both the authorities as well as students, so it is a responsibility of everyone to maintain social distancing and follow the COVID-19 instruction.

About 2,72,720 candidates have applied for AP EAMCET, this year, 37,167 students registered for AP ECET.and 64,884 for AP ICET examination. Candidates are advised to wear gloves and face masks before entering the examination centre. Places will be sanitised before and after the exam.
