The Telangana High Court had granted permission to conduct the examinations from Monday in the state, barring in the regions defined. This was done as most of the cases from the district limits of GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation), Secunderabad, Hyderabad, and Ranga Reddy in the state were reported.
Reports also suggested that the Telangana Government is expected to hold a review meeting today to decide the fate of the exams – whether to cancel the SSC examinations or defer. The state government is also expected to consider the suggestion of the High Court to grade the students based on their academic year’s performance – given the present situation and cancelling this year’s class 10th examinations altogether.
Another important information that Telangana High Court ordered the state government and TSBSE to allow students to appear for supplementary exams who are unable to appear for the SSC Exams 2020 currently, which will be held at a later date (August or September 2020). Their marks memo should show them as regular students.
