CBSE 2020: NIOS To Start Live Sessions On SWAYAM Prabha Today For 10th and 12th students

CBSE 2020: NIOS will start conducting live sessions for secondary level (class 10th) students and senior secondary level (class12th) on Swayam Prabha DTH channels. The live sessions will also cover the pending CBSE board exams subjects and also include extracurricular subjects namely Yoga, Dance, Art and Craft, Music and Counselling.

To attend the live sessions, students of Class 10th will have to tune in to channel number 27 ‘Panini’ while the class 12th students will have to tune in to channel number 28 ‘Sharda’.

Live sessions will be conducted from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm for class 10th while for class 12th the sessions will be conducted from 1:30 to 4:30 pm. The sessions will conclude on June 7.

The remaining CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 exams are scheduled to be held from July 1 to July 15. The CBSE exams will be held only in 29 major subjects. This includes six exams for Class 10 students of North-east Delhi.

CBSE will conduct the Class 10 pending exams for the students of North-east Delhi in an area where violent clashes had caused the examination board to postpone the board exams in February.

NIOS has also released the schedule for live sessions which will be conducted today. These live sessions will help students to prepare for the board examinations and will improve skills. Take a look below:

Yoga classes will start from 10:30 am and continue till noon and Digital Payments being part of secondary education will be held form 12:00 pm till 1:30 pm. Business studies and Geography being both part of senior secondary subjects will be held from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm respectively.

NIOS has been taking various steps and initiatives so that students’ education is not affected due to the challenges faced by the country in respect to COVID-19 lockdown.
