Amazon India today, January 13, 2021, announced that it will launch the Amazon Academy to help students preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) to engineering colleges. The online preparation offering will equip students with in-depth knowledge and practice routine needed for the JEE, through curated contents, comprehensive assessment, mock test, expert session for each subject, sectional mock test, and doubt clearing session via live lectures in related subject such as Physics, Math, and Chemistry.
Tech giant informed in a press that these initiatives will help JEE aspirants as it is offering valuable content for JEE preparing students. Topic-wise mocks, personalized performance analysis, and expert sessions, etc facilities are being provided by Amazon Academy on its online preparation Ed-tech platform.
The beta version of Amazon Academy will be available free of cost on the web and the Google Play Store. The content is currently available for free and will be accessed by the students for the next few months.
They also clarify that it will include other competitive content soon.
Amazon Academy will also hold a live All India Mock Test (AIMT) at scheduled intervals. Such exams are conducted by most of the prominent or major coaching institutes to assist students assess their performance as compared to others since JEE has relative scoring. Such tests have a fee, however, Amazon India is yet to share fee structure details.
“Comprehensive assessment helps students to analysis their performances and improve their weaker section,” it added.
“Amazon Academy will offer students a range of JEE preparatory resources at launch, including specially crafted mock test by industry, over 15,000 handpicked questions with hints and detailed step by step solution for practice”, the statement further said.
They ensure students that contents are valuable and specially designed in view of competitive purpose. The contents have been developed by expert faculty from across India, it said. Except JEE, this content will also benefit those students who are preparing for BITSAT, MET, VITEE, and SRM JEEE exams.
