Admission Process For MICAT-2 for 2021 Academic Session Has Began; Check Here For Detail

MICA, Ahmadabad has begun the MICAT-2 admission process for the 2021 academic session in online mode. The Institute has opened a link for MICAT-2 admission in 2-year program. The Institute has invited candidates for its 2021-23 batch for the flagship 2-year Postgraduate Diploma in Management- Communication and Postgraduate Diploma in management that is also known as PGP programs.

The last date to apply for MICAT-2 program is 20 January 2021. Candidates are advised to apply for the same before the last date. It is another opportunity for those students who wanted to take admission in the MBA program and had missed the opportunity to appear in MICAT-1 can now seat for MICAT-2, the entrance exam to be scheduled on January 30, 2021.

While providing an opportunity for appearing in MICAT-2 exam, Shailendra Raj Mehta, President and Director, MICA stated that when one door closes, another door opens. Do not need to focus on the closed door; MICAT-2 online examination is there for you.


The first round MICAT exam (MICAT-1) was conducted on December 5 and received a very positive response by the students. Despite having a challenging time, the turn-out across 45 centers was over 90 per cent.

The duration of the MICAT-1 exam for admission to MICA PGDM and PGDM-C 2021-23 batches was 2 hours 45 minutes. The difficulty level of the exam was moderate to difficult.

MICAT is the mandatory entrance test for admission to PGDM courses at MICA Ahmadabad. It is a Computer Based Test (CBT) and will be conducted twice for the selection of PGDM-C and PGDM 2021-23 Batch. The MICAT application fee is Rs. 1985/- inclusive of GST.


This year, the institute has reduced its entrance exam duration, MICAT, by 30 minutes. The duration of MICAT has been reduced from 2 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes for the current year.

It is noteworthy that students, who have already appeared for MICAT-1, can also choose to take MICAT-2 and the best score out of the both will be selected for the admission process.
