If you have recently purchased your first flat or house, then you can get an interest subsidy under PM Awas Yojana. If you have applied to receive an interest subsidy under this scheme, you can check the status of your application from home. Its process is very simple and any applicant can do it in minutes. For this, you have to follow some steps. However, for this, information such as name, father’s name, mobile number and registration number or clap id will have to be kept ready with you.

If you want to avail of the subsidy to buy houses in the city under PM Awas Yojana, then all you need is a Clap ID.

Let’s know what is the process

  • If you have received the CLAP ID from the bank, first log on to https://pmayuclap.gov.in/.
  • Enter the Clap ID at the specified location for the Application ID.
  • Now click on Get Status.
  • After this, an OTP will appear on your registered mobile number.
  • Enter OTP and click on Verify
  • After this, you will get to know the status of the application.

It is notable that a total of five stages appear in CLSS Tracker. In this, the stage in which your application takes place, the steps are highlighted with green colour. If the first stage is highlighted then it means that the application has been generated. The second stage means that the PLI (Primary Lending Institution) means the bank or housing finance company that has given you the loan, has investigated your claim on its own.

The third stage means that the claim has been uploaded on the Central Nodal Agency portal. The fourth stage gives information about whether the subsidy claim is approved or not. If the fifth stage also turns green after checking the status, it means that the government has released the subsidy to the bank.

On the other hand, if you have an assessment ID, then log on to https://pmaymis.gov.in/. Here you will see the option of ‘Citizen Assessment’. In this drop-down list, you will get the option of ‘Track Your Assessment Status’. After clicking on this option, a new page will open in front of you. In this, you can find out the status of the application by name, father’s name and mobile number. Apart from this, status can also be checked from Assessment ID.

The scheme was launched by the Narendra Modi-led central government with the goal of providing pukka houses to every family in the country by 2022. Till now, a large number of house buyers have been benefited from this scheme.
