Paytm brings back IPL-led cashback scheme after temporary ban of Google play

On Monday, mobile monetary app paytm launched Indian Premier League les cashback Scheme a week after being temporarily banned from the Google Play store , this was posted by Patym in their blog. Earlier Paytm was being dropped from Google play and Android platform beacuse it had due to the cashback scheme .

Paytm said in their blog post that” We have made Few changes in our promotions so that our customers can celebrate IPL without any interruption.While we remain firm in our stance on the action taken by Google.

Futher it added that the essence of Paytm cricket remains the same , our customers will get surprising Cricket Player Stickers on each transaction, and earn cashback on collecting them.
Last week Google India temporarily removed the Paytm app from its play store for few hours, claiming that paytm had violated its guidelines on gambling for app developers. The Paytm app was restored after the company complied with the tech giant’s rules on the matter.

According to the terms and conditions of google India ban was imposed on real-money gaming apps or websites into Paytm’s main app.

In reply Patym said that google alleged to be gambling or real money gaming was rather its two new cashback schemes which allowed customer’s to earn scratch cards on its platform during IPL.
Along with the paytm app, paytm fantasy sports app(Paytm First Games) was also removed from Google play on the same day.

Now, Paytm is back with UPI-led cashback scheme to its app. Today, Paytm has launched its stockbroking service, targeting 10 lakh investors across the country through, Paytm Money. Early Paytm Money’s stockbroking service received over 2.2 lakh registrations, out of which 65 percent were aged 18 to 30 years.
