Ola Electric has started booking for its upcoming electric scooter. Consumers can book their Ola scooters on olaelectric.com by depositing a refundable amount of Rs 499, the company said in a statement.

How to reserve Ola scooter?

-Buyers can reserve an Ola scooter on Ola Electric’s website and they need to log in with their phone number using OTP. They can book an Ola scooter by paying ₹499 through Net Banking, Credit or Debit Card, UPI, E-Wallet or OlaMoney.

-A buyer can reserve multiple scooters.

-The buyer can transfer Ola scooter to someone else’s name and write to the company for request.

-No documents are required to reserve an Ola scooter and buyers can sign in with their phone number via OTP.

-The order can be cancelled or modified in future and the booking amount will be refundable. In case of cancellation, the buyer will get the money back within 7 to 10 working days.

-Buyers can later select the colour and variant of their Ola scooter.

Once the booking is done, the company will send the order ID and other information to the buyers via SMS or email on the given mobile number and email address.

– The Ola scooter can be charged using a home charger in any 5A socket or via the Ola Electric Charging Network, which the company says is going live in over 100 cities and eventually over 400 cities will be covered.

The company said that the Ola scooter will come with class-leading speed, range, “largest-in-class boot space, superior range and many first-in-class features” and has taken all these into consideration to make it widely accessible. The price will be fixed keeping in mind the same. “Ola scooters will be priced competitively and the final price will be announced soon,” Ola Electric said on its website.

The first in the series of Ola electric two-wheeler vehicles, the Ola scooter will debut at Ola Futurefactory, which is being built on a 500-acre site in Tamil Nadu.
