Now you can register for UPI service through Aadhar card, no need for debit card

In the last few years, there has been a rapid growth in the scope of digital payments in India. In such a situation, UPI digital payment is the most common method of online payment. Earlier it was mandatory for you to register your debit card while registering for UPI service. But, now after the change in the rules, customers will be able to register for UPI service only through OTP on Aadhar card and registered mobile number. Now the requirement of giving debit card number has been done away with. It is believed that after this big change, more speed can be seen in UPI payment.

UPI payment can be done even without debit card number
In the last few years, the government and the RBI have been trying to expand the scope of digital payments in the country as much as possible. In such a situation, the first debit card was mandatory for making UPI payments. Due to this reason, many people could not register in UPI in the absence of a debit card. But, now only through Aadhar card, he will be able to link himself with UPI digital payment. NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) has now approved to register UPI with Aadhaar.

Registration will be done through OTP only
You will be able to register in UPI only with the help of Aadhaar number and registered mobile number. For this, your bank account should be linked with Aadhaar only. With this, your UPI will be linked with your bank account through Aadhaar. Therefore, if your bank account is not linked with Aadhaar, then get it linked as soon as possible.

Earlier on Tuesday, while making major changes, the Reserve Bank of India has announced that now customers will be able to make digital payments through feature phones. Its name has been named UPI123 pay. Through this facility, 400 million feature phone users will get benefit.
