New Rules: From ATM withdrawal to TDS, these rules will change from July 1

The Income Tax Department has come up with new rules regarding TDS, from today SBI has also made new rules for its cheque books including cash withdrawal. Apart from this, new prices of LPG have also changed. Lets see what all is going to change from today. 

SBI’s ATM will deduct more charges on withdrawal. 

From today, many changes will be seen in the country’s largest bank i.e. State Bank of India. In fact, from today onwards, if you withdraw money from SBI ATM more than four times in a month, then you will have to pay extra charges. After withdrawing money four times, Rs 15 and GST will have to be paid on every withdrawal. All new service charges will be applicable on Basic Savings Bank Deposit account holders.

These will be the rules for SBI’s cheque book

Apart from cash withdrawal, SBI has also brought new rules for the chequebook. Under this rule, more money will have to be paid for the use of SBI cheques. Account-holders will have to pay Rs 40 plus GST charge for taking 10 checks. SBI gives a 10-page cheque book free of cost every year to its Basic Savings Bank deposit account holders. After that, if you issue a 10-page checkbook, then GST charge will have to be paid for it along with Rs.40. Apart from this, if you take a cheque book of 25 pages, then the GST charge will have to be paid along with Rs 75. SBI will now charge Rs 50 plus GST for a 10-page emergency cheque book. However, senior citizens have been given exemption in the new rule of cheque book.

 

If ITR is not filed then more TDS will be deducted

From today, the Income Tax Department will charge more TDS, TCS from those who do not file returns. Actually, this rule will be applicable to those people whose annual TDS is Rs 50,000 or more. At the same time, there is a provision to deduct tax at more than the applicable rate for those who do not file an income tax return. 

IFSC Code will change 

From today the IFSC of Syndicate Bank is also going to change. In fact, Syndicate Bank was merged with Canara Bank last year. At the same time, from today the customers of Syndicate Bank will get the new IFSC Code of Canara Bank. From today IFSC Code of Syndicate Bank will be considered invalid. 

There may be a change in the price of LPG,

On the first day of every month, the central government announces the price of an LPG cylinder. Where last month, the government had cut the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder by Rs 122. At the same time, there is a full expectation of a change in gas prices, because the price of crude oil is increasing continuously.
