HDFC Bank customers should know – Net banking will be affected for two days, know why the transaction will not be possible

If you are an account holder at HDFC bank, then this news is necessary for you. HDFC Bank’s NetBanking facility will be affected for two days. During this time you will not be able to do any kind of transaction. Net banking facility will be affected for February 3 and 4. On behalf of the bank, it has been told that due to maintenance, the Debit Card service will be closed from 12:30 AM to 5:00 AM on February 4. The bank has also informed that during this time customers will not be able to use HDFC Net Banking or Mobile Banking App. The service of HDFC Bank was also affected last night. The customers were not able to use the credit card during the night from 2 to 3 pm, although the bank had already given information about it.

External professional IT firm appointed 

External IT firm has been hired for maintenance of HDFC Bank. The RBI has entrusted the audit of the entire IT infrastructure of HDFC to an external professional IT firm. The RBI is auditing the entire IT network of the bank under Section 30 (1) B of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949. 

Restrictions on issuing new credit cards 

The Reserve Bank has asked HDFC Bank to stop the launch of all digital business generating activities under Digital 2.0. The bank has also banned all proposed businesses in which maintenance will be carried. Apart from this, the issuance of new credit cards has also been banned. The RBI will lift all restrictions when the audit work is completed.

HDFC Profits increase in third-quarter

HDFC Ltd said on Tuesday that its Net Profit rose to Rs 5,724.23 crore in the third quarter of FY 2020-21, up from Rs 4,196.48 crore in the year-ago period. HDFC Ltd told the stock market that its cumulative total income increased to Rs 39,267.59 crore during the period, from Rs 29,073.19 crore in the same period of 2019-20.
