FM Nirmala Sithraman Addressed the National MNC’s Conference 2020 on Monday

While addressing the conference Sitharaman ensures industries that the momentum of economic reform will continue. Despite the COVID-19 crisis, PM Modi has not lost hope to recover India’s growth and turning the global pandemic into an opportunity to take deep reforms.

Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday e.i. November 23 assured the industry that economic reforms are still made to make India a hotspot of global investment. We are working on many projects which boost India’s standard and several more active reform-related steps are being taken up.

She further added,” even at the time of global crisis, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not lost an opportunity to attract investors to invest in the Indian market by presenting the idea of ‘Aatmnirbhar Bharat Drive’. He turned pandemic crisis into an opportunity to take deep reforms, to undertake those types of reform which have not seen the light of the day over the decades.”

 

The financial sector is the fundamental for any country to become a strong representative on the international platform. Indian government knows its responsibility towards the nation and its citizens. We are ensuring all the industry that this COVID-19 pandemic will not block us to achieve our goal.

“The financial sector is one of the most professional sectors; being professionalized and the government will continue with disinvestment agenda” she added in her conference.

“India has turned the table and takes the crisis created by pandemic as an advantage to push the economic reforms, which remained pending for decades,” she addressed the National MNC’s Conference 2020 organized by the Industry Chamber CII (Confederation of Indian Industry).
