Dettol is now ahead of Lifebuoy, Godrej, and Lux ​​

For the first time, in the case of a sale, Dettol has left behind Lifebuoy, Lux, and Godrej. Lifebuoy and Lux, Hindustan Unilever are famous brands in this. Dettol’s global sale has gained 62 percent. Dettol’s Indian market has gained 4.30 percent. In 2019, Lifebuoy’s share in the Indian soap market was 13.1 percent, while Dettol’s market share was 10.4 percent. The second is the Godrej brand with a market share of 12.3 percent.

Bar soap leads in hygiene category in the country

In India, various products are sold under RT (Reckitt Benckiser) Dettol such as surface disinfectants, soaps, antiseptic liquid, hand sanitizer, kitchen dish cleaning gel and body wash among others. Due to COVID-19, sales of sanitary products have increased significantly, especially the sale of soap and hand washes products. Bar soaps of more than 20 thousand crore rupees are still at the forefront of the hygiene category in the country.
